Today's Cigar

where did it go? It’s been a great source to find out:
1) fair prices based on average price paid and
2) what to expect from some untried cigars based on regular people’s reviews.
Yeah, sure, over time the amateur critics eventually take on the writing style of Cigar Aficionado, but read enough opinions of a cigar and you’d get a good feel for the quality, strength, complexity etc.
Many times I saved a few bucks based on my readings at the site, but it seems to have disappeared in the last few days.
Any info out there? Yo, my old bud BD. You still hanging around? You always know everything going on. What’s the deal, man?
Oh, and the Pats are in the Super Bowl. I am accepting congratulations from all you poor sports that ignored me when the BoSox won the World Series.

http://www.top25cigar.com/reviewdatabase/ is for the database itself, as the ‘top25cigar.com’ alone takes you to the index page, for both the review DB and the forum, etc.

I can not explain what has been happening lately. I am admittedly low tech but never had a problem getting to their site. Recently though I’ve been ending up at a “site under construction” with links to cohiba and a few remotely related topics.
Tonight I added the /reviewdatabase/ and it got me there. Thank you, I love fishing around there for opinions and pricing. But if I try just top25cigar, I still get sent into space…so I guess I’ll use your suggestion. Just strange that it suddenly stopped working.

Glad I could help. The lil’ guy (now in the double digits for days old) has me overly cautious… or rather, my wife’s always-changing hormone levels do… but I didn’t say that ;)
For what it’s worth, my username on top25cigars is APhiO_Igor (or something like that…)
I’ve only reviewed like 20 sticks or so, but hope to get some more reviews up there. If you’re on the database’s main page, there’s a dotted hash line at the top-center of the page with some drop-down items… scroll over “review options” and then “Reviews by User”. click on that, and you’ll be able to find my username in the scroll- list, click on my name and it opens a second scroll-down box with a list of my reviews.
I’m no expert, but I play one on top25cigar.com ;)
