Today's Cigar

Cuesta Rey No. 47 Maduro 5-Pack (284-17.5)

Discuss today’s cigar – Cuesta Rey No. 47 Maduro 5-Pack

First a question for 42:
Forty Two,
Now that nub it out, after all the hype (gimmick or not) I think it would be nice if you offered a fiver of at least one of the three wrapper types. Since the RG is soo large in these cigars, I would prefer a torpedo shaped vitola as it will be much easier to cut and I am not a fan of the punch. This is just my opinion and after all it is up to you in the end.
Thanks
--------—-
I am a fan of Oliva and although this is not an Oliva product it is still distributed by Oliva, so I am willing to give it a try. Since this whole thing is quite possibily a gimmick I think a lot of people are going to be trying fivers first. Then who knows if it starts a trend but I again personally don’t think so but its not like I know everything these things could be great.

beatnik

could not understand most of what you posted, but i believe these cigars are rolled by Fuente…trust me when i say this—this cigar is NOT a risk!

could be why it is already sold out. this is a big name cigar in communities of BOTLs and SOTLs!

wtf? is right

sorry mr. beatnik, he’s correct. I have no idea what you meant…but I always love the way you say it. Actually, I read every word you write and smile the whole time. Man do you love smoking cigars!...in fact you wrote so passionately about certain Padron maduros in top25cigar that I made a buy yesterday based on lots of input but your write up clinched it.
These particular CR’s offered today are a step up from their regular line (which isn’t bad)and I believe are from their cabinet series. They go for about $4.50-$5.00 around Boston and generally show their Fuente lineage. Not top shelf but nothing to be ashamed of when gifting a good friend. Good cigars.
