Discuss today’s cigar – Tatiana Classic Honey 5-Pack

This was not the size but I believe this was my first cigar. Maybe it was CAO but it was a honey or maybe vanilla but I think honey flavored cigar. GREAT for beginners since if I didn’t like it I would not be smoking today. Also GREAT for Women.


This is a Great starter cigar to give to others who are first starting or for yourself if you are. Flavored cigars are almost always great for beginners as long as they are constructed well and this brand is. Also it is only honey flavored so its just a bit sweet. Overall a good flavored cigar beginner or not. Also for new smokers this can help to learn the taste for tobacco and might lead to smoking mild cigars and we all know what comes after that.


I Recommend it for any beginner if its you or someone to give to and is also good for Women if you think you can get your other half to try one she/he might like it and begin to share the same hobby as you do. Always a plus in a relationship.

Mr. Beatnik, as much as I look forward to your writings, and more often than not find myself in agreement with your positions on all things tobacco (I owe you a thanks for so strongly speaking out in favor of Padron, you were correct!), I must say that the very idea of smoking with my wife is as bad as the idea of playing golf with her.

One of the great pleasures of cigar smoking is the quiet, reflective , and relaxing time it affords a guy either alone or with like-minded friends.

Don’t get me wrong, why my wife loves me is a mystery, she is beautiful, hard working, a great mother and fantastic life partner…but there would be no relaxation if she spent down-time with me. Between puffs would be lists of all the shit that I need to do, all the things I forgot to do, all the things I shouldn’t need to be told to do…you get the idea.

Now, I am usually a pretty modern man, one of those Massachusetts Liberals most of you survivalist readers think you know all about (but you don’t know shit about), but I think we can find some “common ground” on this one issue: Cigars are meant to repel women, not to be shared as “quality time”. Even Liberals need a break.

By the way Beatnik, did you ever try those 5 Vegas A’s when you were looking for a lower priced surprise a few weeks back???
