This week’s Sunday Sampler consists of five excellent cigars from past days’ offerings. The sampler starts with the largest of the smokes – a 6.5×52 Nat Sherman Metropolitan Explorer. This Connecticut-wrapper cigar is from the famed cigar Nat Sherman cigar company, which has been in business for over 60 years. Next is the Oliva Serie G Perfecto Maduro. These are beautifully dark cigars have a tapered shape, and are packed with flavors of coffee and nuts. They’re medium to full in body. After the Oliva is the Sosa Wavell Maduro – a highly rated Fuente brand. These smokes have a woody, leathery flavor with hints of cocoa and coffee. They’re medium in body. Next is the Bahia Maduro Robusto. These are only a 5×50 robusto cigar, but they cram in a ton of flavor – earth, leather, spice, nutmeg, and coffee. Finally, we end with the La Gloria Cubana Wavell. You can never go wrong with a La Gloria Cubana. All this for under $20 shipped is a bargain you can’t pass up.
