Today’s Cigar is the Bahia Gold #3, a corona gorda manufactured in Nicaragua. These fine smokes are aged to perfection – the sun grown Ecuadorian Sumatra wrappers are aged for 4 years, and the Dominican Cuban Seed filler tobaccos are aged between 4-5 years before being rolled. Even once the cigars have been created, they’re allowed to age for another full year before being shipped to retailers. All of this creates a strong, robust, and complex smoke, tailored for the true aficionado. Flavors of spice and wood are clearly defined in this cigar, although the complexity of the stick provides many other tastes to interest the palette. At retail you could expect to pay at least $43 for this five pack. Even online its hard to find them for under $40 ($39 was the cheapest we found).
